The UCSF STAR (Service, Training, Advocacy & Research) Center for ASD and NDDs will be offering an introductory/clinical workshop for the second edition of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) at the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute on February 28-March 2.
ADOS is used for assessing and diagnosing autism spectrum disorders across ages, developmental levels, and language skills. The second edition includes revised algorithms, a new comparison score for Modules 1-3, updated protocols with clearer administration and coding guidelines, and a new toddler module. The ADOS-2 introductory/clinical training workshop will use a lecture format to introduce the basic principles of administering and scoring all ADOS-2 modules and provide an essential step toward competence in using the ADOS-2 in everyday clinical practice or for research purposes.
Enrollment is subject to space availability and registration is required. Applications can be downloaded and submitted at psych.ucsf.edu/STARtraining. For more information, contact the STAR training staff at [email protected].
