Diamondbacks place Lamb (shoulder) on DL

A sprained AC joint in his left shoulder is sending Arizona third baseman Jake Lamb to the 10-day disabled list, manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday. Lamb injured the shoulder Monday night against the Dodgers.

Gyorko to 10-day DL, Cardinals recall Bader

A day after he strained his right hamstring, the Cardinals placed third baseman Jeff Gyorko on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday. Greg Garcia will take over at third base, and the Cardinals recalled Harrison Bader from Triple-A.
