General Evaluation and Short-Term Treatment Clinic

The UCSF Child & Adolescent Psychiatry General Evaluation and Short-Term Treatment Clinic (GESTT) provides multidisciplinary consultative assessments within a developmental framework of children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive difficulties. GESTT provides outpatient clinic-based consultations for families that focus on achieving diagnostic clarity and developing treatment plans that are shared with the referring pediatric service with the goal of addressing the mental health needs in pediatric care settings.

GESTT is a multidisciplinary team that includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and pediatricians, as well as trainees from diverse programs at different levels of training.
