Survivors Clinic

The Survivors Clinic is directed by a medical school professor who developed the diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and pioneered effective psychotherapies. He led groundbreaking research on grief. The research findings are implemented in this clinic and include integrative approaches to post-stressor growth, personal resiliency, and increased self-esteem.

The clinic is staffed by tenured and clinical faculty, senior Psychiatry Department resident physicians, and affiliated psychology trainees. A central function is assessment and advice to those who seek consultations. Written clinical reports can be released to health care professionals with the consent of the client.
