The Adult Psychiatry Clinic offers several types of diagnosis-specific time-limited cognitive-behavioral groups for problems such as depression, social anxiety, eating disorders, and more. In addition, the clinic offers mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for depression and an array of long-term dynamic groups that focus on interpersonal relationships, allowing for individual growth and support within a group setting. Several of the long-term groups are mixed gender and address issues of everyday life.
Time-limited cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) groups and open-ended dynamic groups. Prior to entry into a group, patients are evaluated to ensure their needs will be appropriately met and to answer any questions about the group program.
