RED Plus Study

Description

The RED Plus Study is a randomized controlled trial being conducted to determine whether a new counseling intervention will improve the benefits of safer sex counseling for gay and bisexual men living with HIV.

Study Design

Eligible participants will attend three study visits (1-3 hours each) over the course of a year.  At all three visits, they will complete a questionnaire, using a computer to input their answers, and undergo testing for sexually transmitted diseases.  At the first and second visits, participants will also receive an individual counseling session.  Some participants will have a standard counseling session, while others will get an enhanced version.

End Date

3/31/2010
