Sarlo-Ekman Endowed Chair in the Study of Human Emotion

THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO invites applications for the Sarlo-Ekman Endowed Chair in the Study of Human Emotion. This hard-money position would be filled at an academic rank commensurate with experience (Assistant to Full Professor level), and could begin on July 1, 2010 or thereafter. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology, and advanced training or experience in conducting basic research in the study of human emotion. Although the emphasis is on basic emotion research, research opportunities in psychiatry, neurology and neuroscience are available. The Sarlo-Ekman Endowed Chair provides a support budget.
