ADOS-2 Introductory Clinical Workshop (CME/CEU credits available)

Dates and times: Monday, July 16 and Tuesday, July 17, 2018; 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Prerequisites: None
Cost for attendance: $500 (optional CME/CEU: $80)

The ADOS-2 is used for assessing and diagnosing autism spectrum disorders across ages, developmental levels, and language skills. The second edition includes revised algorithms, a new comparison score for Modules 1-3, updated protocols with clearer administration and coding guidelines, and a new toddler module. The ADOS-2 introductory/clinical training workshop will use a lecture format and live demonstrations to introduce the basic principles of administering and scoring ADOS-2 modules 1 through 4 and provide an essential step toward competence in using the ADOS-2 in everyday clinical practice or for research purposes.

Prerequisites: Complete ADOS-2 Introductory Clinical Workshop
Cost for attendance: $250 (optional CME/CEU: $40)

The ADOS-2 toddler module workshop will use a lecture format and video demonstrations to introduce the basic principles of administering and scoring the ADOS-2 toddler module and provide an essential step toward competence in using the ADOS-2 in everyday clinical practice or for research purposes.

Dates and times: Thursday, July 19, and Friday, July 20, 2018; 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, July 21, 2018; 8 a.m.–noon
Prerequisites: Complete ADOS-2 Introductory Clinical Workshop
Cost for attendance: $2,000 (each post-course research reliability tape submission is $400)
Required materials: Pre-course videos of you administering two ADOS-2 modules (1 mod T-2, 1 mod 3-4)

The ADOS-2 advanced/research workshop is designed for individuals who have already completed ADOS-2 clinical/introductory training, including those who would like to establish research reliability so they can use the ADOS-2 for research purposes or gain hands-on clinical experience administering with live patients in small groups. The training is two and a half days, involving intensive instruction on the psychometrics of the instrument, working in small groups on administering and scoring the ADOS-2, and discussion and question/answer about specific administration and coding issues.


Food: A continental breakfast will be provided each day for intro training. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day for advanced training. If you have serious food allergies or restrictions, we recommend bringing your own food or finding food elsewhere.

Late applications: Applications received after June 18, 2018 will be incur a $50 late fee

Refund policy: A refund, minus a non-refundable $50 application fee, will be sent to those who cancel at least 14 days prior to the course start date.
